Keaton's Baptism

Our little Keaton has turned 8, and has made the wonderful choice to be baptized.  His birthday was on Friday and he wanted to wait and have his party on Sunday after his baptism so his cousins could be there.  It was hard looking at all those presents for 3days!
This is his new suit, well new to him anyway.  It's the one Sam got on his 8th birthday.  Keaton is a little taller than Sam was at this age, so the pants are a little short.  But it works.  He looks so grown up!  I also asked him to smile and he gave me this smirk.  I have know idea why.  Must be the cool thing to do now-a-days.
There we got a smile out of him.  If you know Keaton, he isn't a child that shows emotion much.  Especially when it comes to his facial expressions.
We had his baptism right after church.  It was a bit hectic doing it that way but it seemed to fit everyone's schedule.  Keaton was very excited to finally be baptized.

After the baptism we all came back to our house for dinner, party, cake and ice cream. It's so fun to get the Heileson clan all together.

That green thing that Sam is holding is one of Keaton's favorite presents.  It's a creeper from the game Mine craft.  Sam apparently like it too.
Our last child has turned 8.  They are growing up so fast.  It's hard to believe that in 10 short years he will be graduating and going off to do many great things.

Amber's 19th birthday

Amber had her Birthday on May 8th.  She turned 19!  Wow.  It's been nice to have her home with us again, although I think we are driving her a little crazy.

Along with some clothes shopping, I also let her go have a facial and her first message.  She loved it.

As you can tell, she knew about this jacket, shirt and this necklace already.

She didn't know about this movie, which for some reason she was very excited to get.

Also this Dr. Who version of Monopoly was a surprise as well.  As you can probably tell.

19 big ones.  I made a homemade cake for a change.  She wanted lemon cake with lemon frosting.  It was delicious!  Unfortunately the boys didn't really care for it.  They each had a piece, but we had a lot of cake left over.

So Bret says to me last night about 8 O'clock, "We need to go out to the barn and take some pictures of our Billy goats, because a lady is interested in buying one of them."  So with a little complaining on my part, we head out.  It was cold outside, and I was already in my warm jammies! Anyway I had fun watching Bret try to chase these guys down, and try to get them to hold still  and take pictures of them.  Some didn't mind being held. Others didn't like it a bit.

Thought I'd take a picture of our calf too.  She was just laying in the straw, and watching.

 Smile!

This one was fighting a little bit.  Didn't like being held I guess.

Awe, how sweet.

This one definitely didn't like what was going on.  Squirming, and hollering like he was being tortured!  Sheesh!

Anybody want this one???  Has a nice set of lungs on him!

My old laptop died.  I just got a new one today. So now I should be able to get some pictures on here and get an update going soon!
